As someone who’s been on a journey to simplify her life for the past seven years, I’ve received requests to share a bit about some of the benefits I’ve experienced living minimally. While I can personally appreciate a simpler life, I recognize that my level of minimalism may not work for everyone and that minimalist living is different for each individual. However, I do believe we can all learn to simplify something in our lives, especially in a society that tells us to do more, buy more, and be more. Eliminating excess stuff, responsibilities, or activities has lifted a huge weight off my shoulders, and can help you feel lighter mentally.
